Some are more challenging than others but the Cannon Trail is the best for a family biking experience as it is purely flat and paved.

Rivers are plenty in Minnesota too, given the large number of lakes here. The water trails allow for exciting canoeing and kayaking activities very popular with tourists in the state. There are also cross-country ski trails, the most popular being the Gunflint and North Shore Trails. All the ski trails are well maintained and will give you an unforgettable skiing experience.

At the same time, there are snowmobile trails around the state that are also well groomed to ensure that visitors have amazing rides along the trails. You will find convenient places to rent the necessary equipment you will need to explore any of the trails around the state.

Minnesota has over 900 miles of ATV trails that are the perfect choice if you want a thrilling off-road ride on your all-terrain vehicle. Hikers are allowed to bring dogs on some of the trails in the state but they have to first meet the stipulations for bringing them along. Minnesota off-road and trails experience is one of a kind, offering you the opportunity to come into direct contact with the state’s magnificent outdoors and scenery.
