Discover the many State-of-the-Art Concert Venues in Minnesota

Minnesota concerts Throughout the year, various entertainment concerts are held in different parts of Minnesota. Accordingly, the state has over the years established state of the art concert venues to host the numerous events held here every year.

There are concert venues in literally every area of the state, with the big cities such as Minneapolis and Saint Paul having the largest number of venues.

There are concerts specific to Minnesota and are therefore held here annually at the same locations. One such concert is the Sommerfest, which is a 3-week long music festival organized by the Minnesota orchestra. Orchestras from other parts of the country also grace this summer event that features different genres of music such as jazz, folk and classical. Sommerfest is held in Minneapolis, at Orchestra Hall and Peavey Plaza.

The State fairgrounds are another prominent concert venue where various concerts are held at different times of the year. The venue is particularly known for hosting the annual Minnesota State Fair, part of whose shows include music concerts by various music bands both from within the state and from other parts of the country.

First Avenue is a popular concert venue in Minneapolis. Since Minneapolis and Saint Paul are Minnesota’s biggest cities, fondly know as the Twin Cities, many music bands and prominent solo artists make their way here, to entertain their fans. First Avenue plays host to many of these concerts held around the year.

There are however many more prominent Twin Cities venues that include the Triple Rock Social Club, the Nomad World Pub and the Dinky town in addition to the Fine Line Music Café , Foundation and the Whole Music Club. The Twin Cities have more than 20 concert venues combined while other venues are distributed around other parts of the state.

Many of the Minnesota concert venues host numerous other recreation activities, so that even when there are no concert events, the venues are still fully operational. Two of the biggest casinos in the state, the Grand Hinckley Casino in Hinckley and the Grand Casino Mille Lacs in Onamia are two such concert venues. The Northern Light Casino in Walker and the Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel are also popular casinos in the state that also serve as concert venues.

Every one of the concert venues in Minnesota has a website where visitors can find detailed information on the concerts scheduled there, how to obtain the tickets and the seats that are still available. Besides, there are sites purely dedicated to getting you tickets to any of the concerts held all around the state. These sites enable you to book your events online as well as obtain tickets on time so that you do not miss out on the shows whether you are from within the state or not. You will also find venue maps to help you find your way to the different concert venues and sitting charts to help you identify the available seats from where to best enjoy the concerts.

Minnesota concert venues have accommodation facilities in the vicinity and therefore visitors will find places to stay with ease. There are also plenty of activities to sample around the concert venues such as camping, indoor and outdoor games, swimming, shopping and sight seeing.
